I studied singing from the age of sixteen. From drama school and beyond once fellow students and actors knew I was a singer they sought me out to help them sing. This in turn led to work as a musical director and workshop leader. So when I trained on the specialist voice course at the Central School for Speech and Drama (CSSD) as a voice teacher in 1990, it was a natural progression for me. Voice coaching and teaching in theatre and actor training has formed a central part of my work since then.
